Ride report 08/08/12 – Clarkey

About (forgot to count) 20 of us set off from the Leg iron up through the forest where we were joined by Dai Bread legs who was lurking around in the foliage….. we swiftly moved on to Ade’s new trail which lead us nicely to ‘Kate’s Bush’ for refreshment, a much demanded old style ride night with a Formula One 3 stop strategy. Surprisingly we had a few mutineers at such an early stage, shame on you!!

A swift road ride up to the ‘Fifty Shades of Llwyd’ for our second scheduled stop, where we were reunited with the mutineers who looked very sheepish (covered in sh*t and wool) joining back in with the herd.

Off we set up to Rudry mountain to ride the Cuckoo trail which was a tad overgrown!!..... after two miles of self-harming we arrived at our third stop, The Monte (yes it’s still open!) where we enjoyed a few ales, Olympic Women’s hockey and Beaker admiring the arse of male athletes.

On leaving the Monte, we briefly started a chain gang ride home which somewhat startled Berni !!
A dark ride through Tamplins with one member breaking the lighting up rule back to HQ to enjoy more ale, food and Olympic beach volley ball.

Class.
